Today I am going to provide you with a few advices you may or may not know when it comes to using Photoshop. There is no doubt that graphic designers are all about using this program to edit their images. If by the way you are a photographer, a graphic designer or a tech lover looking to change, buy, or sell part of your equipment, you should consider taking a look at the many free classified ads in Bangladesh.
But like I said, what I want to focus on today are some different techniques to fully take advantage of Photoshop. I am sure each and everyone of you are used to developing your own techniques and learning over time, but you can always find tricks that will make your life easier.
I wanted to mention for example the use of the crop tool. Obviously it is normally used to crop pictures, but using Ctrl+Alt will result on increasing the canvas size. I have also found another way to duplicate a layer stile to an object/layer, which consists on holding down Alt and dragging it on the fx. If on the other hand you are looking to hide a few layers while you are working on one in particular, hold down once again the Alt key and simply click on the Eye Icon. You can find it on the Layer Palette.
Something that really is useful is being able to get rid of palettes, toolbox and option bar all at once. Sometimes when you are working on an image that is all you want on your screen, so simply hit Tab to make them go away. If you want them back, you just need to hit it again.
These are probably common knowledge and I could go on and on for hours, but I am sure we can all remember our first time working with Photoshop and thinking that it was quite a task. It has so many features you simply never stop learning, so make sure to share your tips with us!
