Solargraphy: Long Exposure Photography Record Sun’s Path

admin on Dec 29th 2011 with No comments

Solargraphy is a long exposure photography which shows the path taken by sun. This photographic technique use a simple pinhole camera constructed from empty drink can and a single sheet of photographic paper for recording sun’s path.

Through this method, you can experience all the invisible movements of the sun because it transforms all the invisible movements to be visible in landscapes. Here, in this photography, exposure time can be a couple of hours, six months or in between them.

However, Long exposure photography can bring about some amazing and impressive shots only when the photographs are taken with a lens-less pinhole camera with an extra-long exposure.

In this post, we’ve presented some amazing and outstanding examples of Solargraphy to inspire you. You just have to scroll down to see 15 stunning examples of Solargraphy shots…
