404! Error Pages once used to be seen as the most unwanted page that any visitor would like to see, and therefore the designers did not give the required piece of attention to it.
But now with time designers have started understanding the importance of keeping a visitor busy and navigate him back to the website.
A properly designed and information studded 404 page can interest even a random visitor, which may become one of your religious follower. An error page effectively designed can communicate the next important step which a user need to take in order to find what is he looking for.
Below you will find a collection of many 404 pages that designers have designed out of their imagination. Few pages are contended with their objective, but others are filled with weird ideas and messages.

Hi Stu, thanks for sharing such a great 404 page. I like it and have included the same in the list. Thanks again!
Great collection!
I found this one very funny. http://www.intermix.nl/404/ webcompany being geeky, like their code doesn’t work and also including a bit of mario =p
We had fun with our error pages.
Our 404 has a unicorn on a mountain.

Because like a unicorn, your page can’t be found.
We also did a goat for 500 – technical difficulties errors (scape goat)
A dragon for 403 – invalid credentials
