Still there are some designers who thought to use the footers in a beautiful way. They took it as one of the ways to impress the visitors. Not only this, Footers have been used in large number of possiblities:
a) Advanced functions in footers: Footers can be used to pass on important information to the readers in a quick manner. You may use it to ask contact number, email address, comments form the visitors. Place the popular posts, updates, or give a search box to the users at the end.
b) Illustrations in the footer: You may give illustrations at the footer, so that footer will also help to convey some useful information to the readers.
c) Footer as a part of social bookmarking: Place all the social bookmarking siteslike twitter, facebook, myspace, stumbleupon at the end. If you are the business owners, ask your readers to follow you on twitter or make friends on other sites. If you have a blog, let the readers to tweet your post or share the post on other sites
