Wish I saw this list before. I used http://www.convert2xhtml.com and they were terrible. I dont think they even know how a wordpress theme works. I requested my money back but they didnt give it to me. I was very disappointed with their service. Dont use them.

I tried rapidxhtml. Sent them a file 3 weeks ago and paid for it in advance as they requested. When I called to check up on it a week later they said they were still slicing the file and would finish it soon. It was a simple illustrator site with 4 simple pages. I have not heard from them since. Tried emailing them several times and no response. It is now going into week 3 and I have already missed my deadline. I asked for a refund and still no response. They work in Malaysia. I think they are scammers. Buyer beware, do not trust them.

I am furious with them and myself for not researching their company first. Can you let me know if you have had any luck. If not i think i will have to try and get my money back via PayPal (wish me luck!)

Hi Lock,
I emailed so many times and got fed up. I ended up requesting the money returned through paypal, and they FINALLY responded. I worked with Ben, and after filing for a refund with paypal he finally responded saying he had been sick for the past week and that is what slowed everything down…right…for 3 weeks. But being sick doesnt mean that they can ignore all my emails and miss deadline. Anyways, I would just get your money returned. I’m not the first one to have had this issue. They are unreliable and not worth the headache. I ended up trying once more with another company, psdcutups. They are located in NYC. I made sure they were in the US so I wouldnt have this issue again. They did a great job and I would recommend them again to anyone looking to get a psd or ai file converted to wordpress. They actually have a CONTACT number. Which says a lot. (I too feel like an idiot for not researching the first time. But you learn from it right?) They are quick, maybe a little more expensive, but reliable and very good customer service. I worked with Jason and it was a much better experience. I hope this helps.

Hi Jenny,

Thanks for this update. I just got an email from ‘Ben’ (if thats his real name!!) saying that they are having some legal issues and he has not had a chance to respond.

I am presuming that the only reason he got in touch was because i have issued a refund through PayPal. I think i will continue to try and get my money back. Did paypal refund your money?

I have used Psd2Html before and will probably go with them again for this job bu will definitely keep in mind PsdCutUps for future projects.
